Working 4 days a week gives the worker the opportunity to devote himself, his family and free time, to organize himself according to his needs. Society and the environment also benefit from lower greenhouse gas emissions and less pollution.

The agreement contributes to the design of a new frontier of labor organization in Italy, inspired by the principles of justice and inclusion. It arises from a process of constant listening to the needs of the various communities of employees who give life to the company to expand work-life balance opportunities in the factories as well. This agreement reaffirms the centrality of employee well-being as a driving force for the economic and social sustainability of companies,” writes Luxottica.
